Welcome everyone I am happy that you are here.
My name is Viviana and you might either know me on a personal level or you found my site icomputernerd.com. I created this educational platform to help others achieve their goals in the online space.
Whether you’re looking to create a website for personal branding or e-commerce, even if you want to do it as a hobby or a full-time gig. I will do my best to show you what I have been doing and help you get started.
At a very young age, I have always had a very independent and motivating mindset. I moved out of my parent’s apartment when I was only 18 years old and have never gone back since.
In 2001 at the age of 21, I went to school to become an accountant, I earned my degree at Interboro Institue in New York City in 2003.
Shortly after graduation I went on and managed several retail stores for different companies like the Bombay company and Jennifer Convertibles etc yea that was way back when I know :).
However, I didn’t feel as my life was fulfilled to its full capacity and I wanted to see how much further I can go.
So in 2008 at the age of 27, I went to the police academy and became a New York City Police Officer for a little over 2 years. I realized that this wasn’t my calling and ended my relationship with the department.
It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire life due to the politics and the foul play. All I remember is every day I had my hands on somebody.
In 2011, I went back to school to obtain my bachelors in computer forensics where I started working on programming with C# as well as some HTML coding. I then started creating websites as part of my class assignments.
At the time there weren’t many platforms that can help you design websites everything was all about coding.
In addition to my other majors, I was writing case studies for my classmates which then led to doing some assignments and resumes on the side for friendships and coffee.
All of my work and studies have been related to technology, computers, networking, writing etc.
I found myself helping others with their class assignments, and it became apparent that I just wanted to be there to help people in any way possible. It felt really good helping and networking with like-minded people such as myself.
I always wanted to continue learning from others and wanted to return the favor.
In 2014 I went to Keller Graduates University to obtain my Master’s Degree in the professional studies of Information Technology.
I did all this working full time and managing my personal life with my children.
In 2016 I graduated and received my Masters which was a huge relief for me and I became 1 out of 2 from my family to hold with such integrity a great accomplishment.
I then went back to school like what I had wasn’t enough and started taking classes for my CCNA “Cisco Certified Network Associate” at the University of Phoenix.
I became obsessed with learning how to brand myself and create a business in the online space. I knew that the internet is the future and I wanted to become apart of that.
I was tired of my job due to the corporate BS and I knew that I needed something that was going to challenge me more.
Although I had a great professional background I wasn’t a favorite and I was passed up on promotions due to race and gender.
The Goal Of My Site
My goals are to scale myself to the max level of my capacities as well as educate and help others with their career goals.
An online business is a great way to go because of the way technology heading. Every day more and more people will depend on computers for their source of information. Which is a reason why connectible devices are becoming so popular?
So remember creating meaningful content, gaining traffic, designing a website and learning about the marketing world is all here.
I am more than confident that you will not only gain much knowledge about the online business world but you are also going to gain many friends along the way.
People that are going to inspire you to do better in life just as others inspired me.
