Fiverr

Fiverr is an online marketplace for freelancers to post and showcase that they specialize in for the hopes of receiving jobs from potential prospects.

Choosing the right freelancer is like looking for a dentist. Ultimately you want this person to understand what you need and to see and understand your vision. You want to be comfortable and confident that your projects will be completed the way you have envisioned them.

Some of the services this company has to offer are such as

  • Marketing
  • Resume Writing
  • Web Traffic
  • Logo Creations and more!

Craigslist

Craigslist is advertisements devoted to jobs, housing, for sale items etc. I currently advertise my freelancing gigs on Craiglist and I have to say it’s been pretty positive results.

If you’re looking to advertise your business or any events definitely try out this platform. The fee to post is currently $5 but definitely worth trying out.

Patreon

Patreon is a platform that allows artist and creative thinkers to display some of their talents.

The way that it works and how you receive income is by others supporting you and providing donations to encourage you to write content or do any type of acting.

Upwork

Upwork has very similar characteristics to Fiverr. This platform allows creative writers to look for jobs and request to be contacted by the person posting it. You choose the job you want to work on.

Delivery Apps

Uber Eats

If you don’t know what Uber Eats is then you need some new friends :). Uber Eats is associated with the Uber. Uber Eats is a food delivery service that allows you to order food from the comfort of your home, office, etc.

You would potentially sign up as a driver and you receive notifications of jobs nearest you.

Door Dash

Door Dash is one of the fastest growing companies that allow users to order from their favorite supermarkets or home food stores. So the way it works you pick a task of your choice and basically do someones food shopping for the customer as well as the delivery.

Postmates

Postmates just as Door Dash and Uber Eats also offers food deliveries services to customers. You can order food, drinks, and groceries all from the app. Your job is to simply do the delivery and any shopping that may be required.

GrubHub

Don’t underestimate GrubHub the company strives to succeed in the mobile applications.

This app processes hundreds of thousands of orders each day all across different states. Just like the other food delivery services, you earn 100% of your tips and you essentially pick the job you want to take.

Seamless

This food app is another popular one that allows consumers to order food from their favorite restaurant directly to their location of choice. Seamless pricing can range from $2 – $7 depending on where you are ordering from.

The process to become a driver with them is pretty standard to the ones offered by those other apps. copy of your driver license, proof of insurance, address etc.

Driving Apps

Uber

This company offers consumers the ability to request a drive from point A to point B directly through the app. How it works just like a taxi service but you’re requesting for a ride through your smartphone. Uber has over 12,000 employees and they’re still growing strong. Uber also is affiliated with Uber Eats.

Lyft

This app is a very similar company where you request a ride on your smartphone or connectible devices.

Lyft encourages new drivers and they even have a $500 sign on bonus! Now that’s pretty dope. Uber offers a pretty chunk of change as well with $350 sign up bonus!

Gett

Previously known for GetTaxi is another great service app that allows users to request a ride over their smartphone or connectible devices.

Survey Apps

Free apps that pay you money don’t have to be just you going out and about you can stay in too. Surveys should be important to help company growth. How would you know if the product or services are any good? Testimonials and recommendations help consumers make better buying decisions.

Survey Mini

Survey Mini allows consumers to provide feedback on products and or services. Ideally, this is done to better understand buyers persona and understand what kind of solutions or recommendations can be contributed.

The way it works is although there is no cash value at the time of submission you are rewarded credits towards movies, gift cards, merchandise etc. You eventually end up saving over time. So if you have some free time in your hands go ahead and download this app.

Swagbucks

If you are looking to get some cash on top of your reward points then Swagbucks is the app to download.

Very similar to Survey Mini Swagbucks offers cash as well as merchandise for your opinions.

Surveys On the Go

This app Surveys on the Go pays and awards for your opinions based on any subject matter. You choose what you want to give your opinion about and you receive the cash award for sharing your thoughts.

Task Completing Apps

Field Agent

Field agent allows members to sign up and do mystery shopping for a variety of retail stores. With this app, you can find jobs near you and you choose the ones you want. Also just keep in mind that you have a time frame of about 2 hours to complete your task so be certain you have nothing scheduled in between.

Tap Cash

Need to make a quick $10? Interesting enough this apps allows you to survey and try out other apps. It’s a point system so in order for you to earn $1 you’ll have to earn 1000 points. You would have to download the app(s) onto your connectible devices and leave it on there for a couple of days.

The best thing I hear about this app is the payout starts small $1 so you can send that right into your PayPal account.

Dog Sitting Apps

Rover

Rover connects you with members that are available to babysit your furry friend.  If you want to become a top earner then being available for an overnight dog sitting could be something to consider. The company has over 14,000 established cities and over 200,000 sitters with a 5-star rating.

Wag

Do you want to become a dog walker with Wag? It’s the same concept as Rover where you are connected with members that have pets and you basically petsit.

Just like Rover this company also is available in other cities all over the world.

Home Improvement

TAKL

Other free apps that pay you money besides dog sitting are apps with a little home improvement.

If you have special skills that can be of service to someone then this app provides just that. What about helping others with house chores? Easily connect with people and you choose the job you want.

Handy

Free apps that pay you money doesn’t have to feel like your working. Remember this is your side hustle and you want to enjoy it. This app offers a variety of services such as house cleaning, furniture building. tv mounting, interior painting and more.

Baby Sitting

Care.com

I remember using Care.com when I needed a babysitter for my daughter. It’s a pretty reliable app in terms of looking for a sitter. Now I never had to experience it on the other side of the spectrum but I always hear good things about it.  You connect with local parents to care for their child and just like the other jobs you choose the one you want.

Care.com also offers care for the elderly as well as light household chores.

Sitter City

This American marketplace offers a variety of aid for members such as care for the elderly or child care. Very similar to care.com you have the option to choose the job you want and the location you would like to work at.

Urban Sitter

Urban sitters connect people together to find the right services at the right price. You as a sitter would communicate with families just as you would with Sitter City and Care.com.

What I hear that’s really cool about Urban Sitter you are able to communicate with someone if it’s a last minute job. So this is a good starting point if your looking for some extra income.

Become A Tutor!

Udemy

One of my favorite platforms to learn from is Udemy.com. There are a lot of education platforms out there I created this resourceful website to help you navigate your search when it comes to information related to money learning etc. If you have a special skill that you want to show the world this will give you the edge to create meaningful content.

Chegg Tutor

What I really like about this app is that you can connect with hundreds of tutors that are readily available like myself. I am always working on a project on the computer. Whether I am brushing up on my marketing skills are I am helping others with their very own projects I am in the market to help.

Social Media Apps

  • YouTube

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • Pinterest

These are the most common social channels you already are familiar with. YouTube by itself has over a billion subscribers and the number of views that it receives should be enough for you to invest into that space. Facebook also has a large number of members and it’s preferred for businesses all over because of its recommendations tactics.

If you are interested in making some money out of one of these social channels you would offer a product or service to customers.

Once the customer chooses to purchase this product or service with you that is when you receive commissions I see a lot of small businesses using these platforms for exposure. My personal recommendation would be to use all these social channels because everyone communicates differently.

Free apps that pay you money doesn’t have to be boring! With a little research, you can be on your way to gaining some passive income.
